'the thing' meets resident evil (Extermination (PS2))

Advantages: great graphics, great sound, scary survival horror

Disadvantages: fairly hard game, camera sometimes abit tricky, not that different from what we have had before...i.e Resi evil

When I first played this game, I kept on thinking' come on...when is the action gonna kick in!!'But then when It does kick in, which is just at the right time after you have got used to the controls, you are then waiting for a bit of a breather.
First time round you may well be thinking that all the action is weighted in favour of the 'baddies' but have another crack at it and those annoying little thing that keep trying to infect you are alot easier to avoid.
Graphically the game isn't pushing the ps2 to it's limits but I did feel fairly impressed with the lighting and generally everything visual.
The sound also is very good,makes for a very good light's out game!!
Some people may find it a bit difficult as some of the puzzles are not always a straight forward solution,and some of the 'baddies' don't always die in a straight forward manner..lol
Overall though I thought it was a great game, which maybe could have done with a difficulty setting, apart from that...I want to see more of the same and better from the ps2.
