EyeToy Play 3 (PS2)

this eye toy play 3 is actually not that brilliant. its quite exciting buying a new game, you cant wait to get the sellofane off and put it in the ps2 ready to play, you play for around 10 minutes and collapse on the sofa in a heap hot sweating and bored. all of the games are similar and bore me to death, so much so that my eye toy sits on top of my telly collecting dust. nobody ever plays on it as all the games that have come out do not entertain me! i rate the eyetoy play ...  Read the complete review

Wow I love the Eye Toy! I recently purchased this from Grainger Games, the eye toy was pre owned and I got the eye toy and this game for a total of £8! Bargain. I would say to anyone who wants a Wii but cannot afford one get one of these until you can. When playing this game you can 100% see where the Wii idea has came from. The eye toy works by placing a camera on top of your TV. The camera then picks up your movement and this is how you play the game. The EyeToy Play 3 for Playstation 2 was the last edition to the EyeToy Play family (as far as i know). This game had some variety of games but not as many as the first and second ones. The games that i liked were bowling as you felt like you were playing it. Also i liked the american football where you had to duck or jump to dodge the players in the game, which was quite enjoyable. There are some more play rooms, but still not as many as the last games released. After getting this game, I thought it was the best game Id ever played on. Since then I have been proved wrong by the Wii, but I can still play this game and have a bundle of un. For me the variety and music games are the two best catagorys, but the sport is good too. To be honest, you dont really feel as if you are actually playing the sport or performing the music, but you can still have a challange playing the games. The playground bit is definetly the worst, and some of the activities in there are quite pointless, and boring too. You need a lot of space to play the game, especially on multiplayer.
