My sister's love the wishi washi, they battle it out to see who can clean the most windows in the time given. I like the boxing champ most but it does tire you out. It is a bit like the wii because it all involves you up on your feet. You dont even need a controller because you just wave your hands or nod your head over the buttons. Eye toy play comes packed with the camera. I think this game is ok but the picture quality of th...more

Premium Review EyeToy Play + Camera (PS2): Play With Me...? (555 words)
by - written on 02/03/08 (Very useful, 37 readings)
Rating:

The first installment of the EyeToy Play games, feautring a wide range of games for all different ability levels and suitable for anyone from age 3 upwards. Everything is controlled by your hands, so no need for any controllers. This is confusing to start with but don't worry it gets easier after a matter of minutes. You gently wave over the option that you want and it happens. Game Play: You can play on your own, or in teams of up to four (2 a side). Each person chooses a character, or takes their own photo, gives themselves a name, and you're good to go. You then choose from an extensive selection of games, including the one that made this game ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A great way to spend spare time.... (142 words)

When I first heard about the Sony Playstation 2 eye toy I had to purchase one. When I got It I thought it was so much fun, there is quite a selection of games you can play and if you get bored playing solo then you can get your friends or family to join in the multi-player mode. After a while thought I did get quite bored of it and unless you don't mind playing the same game over and over you need to purchase more games which can cost quite a bit. A definate advantage of the eye toy is that it can be used with the Singstar games, which is very good because you can watch yourself singing like a true star. I would recommend this product as I think it's a ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review EyeToy Play + Camera (PS2): A Nightmare On Couch Potato Street (2085 words)

For me, half the joy in owning a games console is the lack of clutter associated with it. In my case a TV, Playstation2, memory card (for games saves) and a control pad is all I really need. But, forever keen to prise more hard-earned notes from my wallet, manufacturers believe we need more ‘stuff’. Mice, keyboards, light guns, steering wheels, dance mats and even, as far as I can recall, some sort of skateboard controller have all been available to enhance our gaming experiences (or so the adverts tell us). Having been a gamer for around 25 years (I’m not old, I just started young!) it’s not just a large collection of games I’ve acquired. Yes I admit it, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review EyeToy Play - A new style of gaming! (264 words)

When I saw eyetoy originally in a shop as a demo I was amazed by it and I justhad to get one. I thought that it would be really expensive but it was actually a very reasonable price of just £40. The game comes with the eyetoy camera which is really easy to setup I found and it has quite a good picture quality which surprised me. You also get the eyetoy play game with a whole range of games to play that involve using the camera! What I liked most about Eyetoy was how it is different from any other game I have played for. It really is a revolutionary game and I loved it for how much fun it is! There are 12 different game's on the Eyetoy play and all of them are ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review EyeToy Play + Camera (PS2): I toy with Eye Toy (2001 words)
by - written on 13/12/05 (Very useful, 5595 readings)

The Sony Playstation 2 is an excellent piece of gaming hardware, but is occasionally criticised of not being interactive enough, and causing kids (and adults) to spend hours sitting in front of a TV screen, and not getting enough exercise ! The "Eye Toy" is Sony's answer to these critisms - it is a small piece of hardware that takes gaming to the next dimension. Basically, the "Eye Toy" is a USB Camera that plugs into the USB port in the front of the Playstation 2. The original package comes with the camera, and a package of games called "Eye Toy - Play", and together, these put YOU into the game ! Setting up ...  Read the complete review
