Family Board Games (PS2):
... really wish I d found a review about this before making the foolish decision to waste a fiver on it! The retail price is £9.99, and Amazon have it in stock at the minute but you can also buy it from other places. The ones that are foolish enough to stock it that is. This is a playstation two game that s supposed to include a variety of family board games. When I bought this, I couldn t find a definitive list of... Rock Band (PS2) ... has to be the best game ever to come to the Playstation 2! I heard about this game coming out on the the nextgen consoles and was worried we wouldn t get it. Let s get the bad bits out of the way first.....well, it s just one bad bit really and it s understandable. Where the Xbox and Playstation 3 versions can go online and purchase new song tracks for the game, the Playstation 2 version cannot. This is because the PS2 has nowhere to store any tracks you might have downloaded. I was disappointed there s not online play (player vs player) though. Anyway, the game....You need 1 or 2 Guitar controllers, a Drum controller and a microphone and then you and up to 3 mates... Read the full review: Rock out with your mates! by Russ1973 |

The Legend Of Spyro: The Eternal Night (PS2) ... Platform Game/Action Game Creator: Insomniac Games Developer: Krome Studios Spyro the dragon is a great game for family and friends to play and this is the second game of the trilogy. Elijah Wood and Gar Oldman s vocals are used to cover the voices of Spyro and Ignitus. This game was first released on October 2007 for the PS2 and developed by Krome Studios. The main aim of this sequel is to go through each stage and then defeat the boss at the end - the same as many other games really. Spyro goes through the game picking up new breathes which he obtains through dreams. Another skill Spyro obtains is the ability to use dragon time which enables Spyro to slow dow... EyeToy Play + Camera (PS2) ... is a quirky little game which most people will find is really entertaining if they let themselves get into it. The game works solely (you can use a controller to navigate menus if you want) using the camera which tracks your movements and displays an image of you on screen. The update of this image is very fast so there is scarcely noticeable lag between making a movement and seeing yourself make the movement on screen. Using this idea the game contains lots of little mini games which require you to make the correct actions. The best example is boxing which requires you to stand side on and box the air (you see a character on screen who you are meant to be boxing...
