Good but no prizes (FIFA 08 (PS2))

Advantages: Great stats and names, good options variety, nice gameplay

Disadvantages: Not hard enough, playability suffers due to this and lack of playing variety

A good game, I love the fact that all of the players have their real names, the teams have their real kits etc. I do find this to be the most frustrating thing about Pro-Evo, I can't imagine in my head the players with the silly names.

Fifa 08 is a good game, not the step forward EA could have made, but nonetheless, there are plenty of things to keep people going, good stats,a new 'be a pro' game allowing you to pick a position and develop your player to International status within a team.

The big problem with this game is that once you've mastered a few basic moves you can easily beat any team, learn the right passing moves to break down a defence and your laughing.

This doesn't have the addicitve nature of Pro-Evo, its better presented, but a game lives and dies by its playability and Fifa 08 is good but doesn't win the prize.

Summary: Nice game, but still not Pro Evolution
