What is fifa about?
fifa is a football game from ea sports. I am personally not a big fan of sports games, i would rather play the sport itself than play it on ps2
What is there to like about fifa 08?
Fifa has 3 modes of play:
Be a pro, in which you play each game as only one player on the pitch, almost like a "3rd person" football game. This mode is ok... only that if you say play as defender, either you must leave your place, making your team more susceptible to people scoring against you, or you have to wait around for ages for the ball to come to you, which can be boring.
There is also a "normal mode" in which you simply just play a game of football, and there is also finally a "manager" mode, in which you must organize sponsors, transfers and footballs wages!

But, there are a lot of things i do not like about this game. Firstly, most of the commentators phrases get recycled over and over again. Also, the gets really repetitive really quickly, and there is also newer fifas. If i am honest, whatever year you get a fifa game, it'll be outdated within the year, either by the newer fifa, fifa street, or pro evolution soccer. I do not like sports games, so perhaps that is why i think so lowly of this game, but my advice, don't get this game
