Advantages: Improved graphics,Manager mode
Disadvantages: Too easy to win matches
The Fifa 2006 edition of the series was a game I picked up first day on sale. The game came with much better graphics than 2005 and also came with new controls to. Other new features in the game were a improved manager mode in the game and also the option of editing your players.
The first mode I played in the game was the manager mode in the game. This was enjoyable as it was interesting and the CPU was tough to beat in some of the games. The only option I did not enjoy here was making a transfer of a big name player to a club like Blackburn Rovers was simply impossible in the game no matter how many league titles you won with them.
Playing the game in the exhibition mode was not hard at all. You could basically beat the CPU at any level in the game. I tried playing the CPU on the hardest level of the game 2 weeks after buying the game was winning 5-0 all the time. This basically took my interest of the game as it was becoming too easy to win the matches.
On a overall rating the game was mostly good because of the up to date squads put in the game. The graphics were also good in the game but only a few players really looked real. These players were Wayne Rooney, Ronaldinho, Kaka and Steven Gerrard.
Summary: Good game to play
