2 years since the destruction of Sin, Yuna has given up her status as Summoner. Yuna and her cousin Rikku are now Sphere Hunters, and Yuna is in search of Tidus, but had no luck so far, they have made a new friend on the way... called Paine, she's a bit like LuLu, but i'm not sure if they related. Its about finding/stealing spheres, to sell, or hope to find history about Spira and its past moments. Then you roughly end up having to save the world again lol! Which will end up you battling monsters, bosses, and other mean things. This game is very playable, because there is lots of wild things to do loads of quests, different ways to go. I think this is a great ... Read the complete review

Final Fantasy X-2 was met with a lot of fan derision upon its release, primarily because all of the lead characters were female, and when your fanbase consists of at least 90% males, this isn't a particularly smart move. Nevertheless, I feel that it's an improvement on Final Fantasy X, which I actually felt was a far more flawed game with its dodgy Sphere Grid system. Whilst the character changes aren't great, the plot keeps us sailing through, as a transmission is picked up from a figure that appears to resemble Tidus. Is he still alive? Thus, the grobe-trotting plot begins, as they travel all over the land to find clues to try and locate him, sending them on a ... Read the complete review

Created by the newly renamed Square Enix, this is the first direct sequel to Final Fantasy X. It sets off 2 years after Yuna and Co finally and completely destroyed Sin. This time with a host of new characters and old characters settled down the main party consists of only 3 characters - Yuna, Rikku and brand new character Paine. All three are females. The world of Spira is trying to get in to a new life after the complete destruction of Sin. Societies are being set up, the Al Bhed are accepted and Kilika has been rebuilt. The job system is back from the original games. Although these are incorporated in Dress Sphere Grids. Its simple collect Dress Spheres and ... Read the complete review

The final fantasy series have been around for a very long time and they never disappoint. This is the second installment on PS2 and also the sequel to final fantasy X. We follow Yuna, Rikku and Paine, the gullwings on their journey to collect spheres around the globe and also Yuna's dream to find back her true love, Tidus... *so romantic* lol The graphics are great and there are some cutscenes in the game where the graphics are breathtaking and immediately captivates you. The story is very good and i feel that it is good but not enough compared to final fantasy X. You get to find different dress spheres which transform you into different ... Read the complete review

Those familiar with Final Fantasy (FF) will tell you that any two 'numbered' Final Fantasy games are never related. Sure they may seem to carry a number afterwards but this does not mean that, for example, FFVII is a sequel to FFVI. The games are completely unrelated in terms of characters, stories, settings and, usually, gameplay and combat. All that is common is that they are all some of the finest games ever produced. Final Fantasy X-2 (pronounced: ten-two) has a weird and, quite frankly, stupid name for a reason. This game is a sequel to Final Fantasy X on the PS2 and, being the first sequel to a Final Fantasy, it seems that Square Enix has broken tradition. While ... Read the complete review
