Advantages: great alround

Disadvantages: er...

2 years since the destruction of Sin, Yuna has given up her status as Summoner. Yuna and her cousin Rikku are now Sphere Hunters, and Yuna is in search of Tidus, but had no luck so far, they have made a new friend on the way... called Paine, she's a bit like LuLu, but i'm not sure if they related. Its about finding/stealing spheres, to sell, or hope to find history about Spira and its past moments. Then you roughly end up having to save the world again lol! Which will end up you battling monsters, bosses, and other mean things.

This game is very playable, because there is lots of wild things to do loads of quests, different ways to go. I think this is a great game, playability... BAH! What’s the point, come on, its a final fantasy we are talking about, ofcourse it will be good... duh! Superb graphics, the film scenes are absolutely magnificent. There are some singing ones like A 1000 Words, and Real Emotion. The game itself, is really good graphics as well.

Yuna and her cousin Rikku have started a sphere hunting team called The Gullwings, in search for a sphere to let Yuna know about Tidus more, she still has not got over him, but she tries. She has inherited this young girls spirit, who was use to be called Lenne, Yuna did not know this until she had feelings for this unknown person, who looks like Tidus, but not him.

Moving - You move around with your character using the left analogue stick, or directional buttons. By the basic Default, your character will always run, but by gently tilting the left analogue stick, you will walk. Talking to People - Move your character close to the person you wish to talk to, then push the (X) button to talk to the person. A box will appears, which will have what the person is saying, and you can get rid of the box by pressing the (X) button again.

Climbing and jumping - If you hold the (O) button while walking, you will be able to climb up a small edge, or jump place to place, when you come to an edge. The (O) button will not have any affect if you don’t have any obstacles or anywhere to climb in that area. Examining - (X) button is not only for talking, you can also use it to examine stuff, or pick up items, or opens chests. You use this button to activate Save Spheres also.

When you and your party are exploring the area, you will usually have a map/guide, which shows you where to go or where save spheres are. The following symbols are used: Yellow Triangle - You and your party, the tip of the triangle is the way you are facing - Red Triangle - The Location of where you need to go - Green Square - An Entrance, or Exit, or a lift - White Square - Where your Save Sphere is - Pink Square - Mission Area.
You can view your character and party status's on the right hand side of the menu. You will see their current level by looking just by their picture.

Select sub menu called Items from the main menu to get to this area. Use - To use an item, click on use, then select the item you wish to use, by highlighting it, you will see at the top of the screen, a little bit of info about what that item is. You use the (X) button to select the item. Sort - you can sort your items into anyway it allows you to, just click on the sort button up on the sop of the screen. The battle system is a bit different to the other final fantasys, as in you can move around during battle to get better position to kill your opponent quicker. You can attack, or use magic if you are able to use that skill, depending which dress sphere you’re using.

The dresspheres are great, there are many of them, but you only start off with a handful of them. They all have their own special abilities for their own uniqueness to learn. It does not take long to learn skills, but you lean them by how much AP (ability points) you get from battles, the more monster/people in the battle, the more AP you will get in the end. The more abilities you learn for the dressphere, the better they get. You get other dresspheres when you get further in the game, you cannot get them all on the first run around, but when you complete the game, there is this thing called New Plus Game, which allows you to start the game again, with all the accessories and dresspheres you had from your previous game, it is really fun, and doing it again will allow you to get 100% complete.

There are 2 different endings to this game; there is the good ending, which is the ending when you are unable to achieve 100%. Which is not as good of an ending compared to the Perfect ending, which you can only obtain when you achieve 100% in the game, which means you need to get each dressphere, battle each monster, get all the accessories, do all the missions, and complete all the episodes, which is harder then you think, so you will probably not get until you have completed the game a few times, so you are use to what you are doing, and barley know what you are up against.

You are able to play blitzball in this game, but not straight off, before that, there is a thing called Sphere Break, which is a mini game like the Final Fantasy VIII playing cards, it makes the game more interesting to play, and if you win the competition, you will get the dressphere called Lady Luck, which allows you to get double AP, and double EXP when you are wearing it, but you will have to defeat Shinra (this really smart albehd kid) who can kick anybody’s butt at this, so beware.

This game is very good to play, nice game, it has great storylines, nice set of characters, and a great finish, that all you can ask for a game, and that’s what you get. This game only costs around 20 pound now, so you have no excuse not to get it, if you like Final Fantasy that is, I found this Final Fantasy very good, even though it was not as good as Final Fantasy VII, but it sure did have its game play, and all the new battle system, being able to move around in battle is great. A good game to get, It is worthy of a 5 star, because it was great with all the graphics, and it holds you attention for ages on end…

Good op. Personally I'd have found it easier to read if there was sub headings. Sharon
