Way back in the murky mists of time, the Japanese started making RPG games. I don't know why, when or how, but we thank the Gods of Game every day that they did. The ironically named Final Fantasy series has easily been one of the most successful and long running RPG traditions in gaming history, starting originally on the Nintendo consoles and moving onto the Playstation for Final Fantasy VII (7). Each game set in a different world, with different races, characters and magic systems. The series kept a few overarching themes the same however to tie them together and put the FF stamp on them all. Summons are one of the most iconic of these stamps, massive ... Final Fantasy X was the first final fantasy game to appear on the ps2, you may wonder how the game fare nowadays compared to all ps3 games to final fantasy XII and so on. I have to say this Final Fantasy was in my opinion one of the best of the whole series, it has everything you need to be attached to the ps2 for a lot of time, probably more than 80 hours. The game, like every other games of this franchise has a stunning graphic that I find still very good compared to today's game, it's very playable and has a very nice but complex story line. You start with some events in your world that turn your character live upside down, projecting ... Read the complete review

In my opinion this is without a doubt the best game ever made for the PS2 and possibly all consoles! Nothing compares to this game regarding graphics, story, characters, music and the overall feel you get from playing this game. In fact, sometimes it can feel so much more than just a game; the way you literally bond with the characters is so magical and how it sends a shiver up your spine on so many occasions is just the rarest thing I have ever experienced when playing any game. You basically start off as a famous blitz ball player (an underwater sport and excellent mini game) in your home town Zandarkand when a massive creature attacks (Sin) resulting in ... As many people are aware, Final Fantasy XII is just around the corner, and the excitement of playing it will surely be gripping every RPG fan in Europe. But its times like this where we must re-live and re-play the past. The Final Fantasy series has prouded itself on being graphically ahead than most. Final Fantasy X is no different. Highly detailed characters overload the screen and it all looks fantastic. Each character is excellently designed - matching their personality simultaneosly. For example, Lulu (The black mage) is very tough and appears stoic and proud. This is emphasised by her buckled goth black dress, however you later begin to notice a deeper ... Story Line The opening movie lets you get to know a little about the character you are going to play with called Tidus. The graphics are absolutely fantastic. You know it hasn't been filmed but you can't quite believe it was done on a computer. Its difficult to pin point who the game is focusing on but if I had to narrow it down i would say Tidus and Yuna. The game is about their journey (with many others) to 'save the world' and bring the calm once and for all. The story is constantly changing and adding new twists, which keeps you gripped and playing non-stop to find out the next thing. Characters Wow, where to start. There are loads of ... Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (PS2)
Improved Konquest mode, kreate-a-character mode is fun, a hell of a lot of characters and modes.
Gameplay needs to evolve, the graphics, though tecnically proficent, are dated.
Spyro: A Hero's Tail (PS2)
Undemanding fun, well-designed, technically sound, long and rewarding
Unoriginal, perhaps slightly too easy, the odd frustrating mini-game
Open Season (PS2)

once you have the skills and weapons the game is almost over and do not get to try them out
