Advantages: Good graphics, good storyline and a great game overall.

Disadvantages: Nothing one of the best Ive played.

Final Fantasy X is a game developed by Squaresoft which is now renamed to Square-Enix, the creator of the Final Fantasy series. It follows the adventure of the main character Tidus as he travels through the land of Spira to defeat the greatest threat of all - Sin, a giant monster that leaves distruction wherever it goes.

Tidus is joined by his fellow party members - Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, Khimari, Auron and Rikku. All with their own special abilities. Like Yuna can summon Aeons to fight alongside her and Wakka can hit enemies from far away with his ball.

Final Fantasy X introduces the game of Blitzball - an underwater sport that is popular throughout Spira. By playing Blitzball you can win new prizes through the Tournament and the League. Prizes include Key Items for Celestial Weapons (The Ultimate Weapons) and Normal Items such as Potions, Phoenix Downs and even new Overdrives.

Overdrives are the special ability of each character and incorperates the special talent of the character. Such as Wakka can hit the target several times with more damage.

The game also introduces a new levelling system, the Sphere Grid. The characters gain AP (Ability Points) after each battle. After gaining the required amount of AP the character gains an AP point which allows the character to move one space on the Sphere Grid. Each "node" on the grid contains a new statistic addition such as "HP +200" or "Strength +2". So the character can train up more effectively. The great thing about this is you can gain spheres later on in the game to upgrade the nodes and therefore upgrade your stats.

This is the first game to introduce real speach instead of text boxes.

Overall this is one of the best games you can play. I recommend you buy it.

Summary: Buy this game, the whole of it just keeps getting better.
