Well here we are two races gone in the 2001 Formula 1 season and here is our second F1 game for PlayStation 2. EA Sport's recent effort was well received on PlayStation and PC yet the company released a half-arsed unfinished version for PlayStation 2 so the console is crying out for a competent version of F1. Ubusoft is well known for her PC conversions of F1 titles, like F1 Racing Sim en Monaco Grand Prix 2. this title is being released on all three important (?) platforms, PC, PS1 and PS2. All PC reviews tell the same story. More a sim than an arcade, authenticity etc. etc. When playing the PS2 version for 5 minutes you will decide otherwise, this is an arcade F1 game. Graphics are true to the current PS2 standard. The cockpit looks a bit 'out of date' and could have been better. The circuits are realistic to a frightening level.
