As a huge Formula One fan I had gone far too long since playing my last racing game on any sort of console, the last PC game I had was Grand Prix 3, the last ps2 game I had was F1 04 and I have never had/there has never been an F1 game released on the 360. So, what with having my old PS2 still lying around I decided to go to CEX and try and find the newest F1 game. Formula One '05 happend to be that game (unable to find '06), so, how did I get on with it? Formula One '05 has the authentic license to name all 22 drivers, all teams and tracks as fell as a few extras to make this game more realistic. What a great game, I was so impressed by this game and will continue to buy these games. I played the 2004 version and thought that 2005 version was much better and they had made major improvements to the game. This game can be very addictive even if you are not a formula one fan. Even if you are a beginner there is a lot of help to guide you through out the circuit. There is a career mode in this game and you have to start off just like any other formula one driver by starting at the bottom and then rising to the top. What a wonderful game! Wonderful graphics, very realistic conditions! You can actually see everything seemingly "vibrating" around you at 150mph as the driver would see thing's making it harder to concentrate and put in the perfect lap! The tuning aspect has been broadened for the more experienced gamers, and there are numerous driving aids and tips for beginers. The new circuit at Istanbul is now available to race on, and what a joy it is to drive there! The most exhilirating parts of the anti-clockwise circuit are the 4 left handers, one after the other, absolutely full throttle! And you can now race in a Red Bull along side David ... Not my game, but I played this over Christmas with my son, who's a fanatic. It's brilliant. I found myself on the edge of the seat for about 5hrs. No exercise involved at all other than the nerves getting a bit of an airing. I found everything about this game to be good. I liked the 'idiot guide' for people like me that play with stuff like this about once a year. It's very very addictive the online mode let's you play with other gamers anywhere in the world. I loved this, it really makes a difference to the competetive aspect of the game. The graphics are brilliant and the 'surround' effect really adds to the reality of the experience. ...
