God of War 2 (Special Edition) (PS2)

With God of War: Chains of Olympus coming out this week, I decided to finally get round to reviewing the game I completed nearly a year ago, a few weeks after release actually. Don't worry I've played through it again, but anyways onto the review...the PS2s life may be coming to an end. After having an illustrious history since 2000, with quality exclusives like Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid, the PS3 is here and now it seems PS2 is being pushed out of the limelight. Sure, it's still getting games like Rock Band and Mercenaries 2 on the system (at least for now) but to be honest, there isn't much promising coming out meaning it ...

Well… I’m back at last with another video game review. I had to write this now, while time allows as at the time of typing this, I am merely weeks away from becoming a daddy!!! As you can imagine, I’m getting my games-playing jollies now while I still can and am not having to change cack-filled nappies!
