The James Bond games have been very hit and miss all in all - the film adaptations were only middling in their quality, whereas Agent Under Fire and Nightfire tried to be a bit more daring, and served up some stunning multiplayer modes that were great with a few mates. This game, however, does not pit you as 007 - you play Mr. Hunter, who has been kicked out of M16 and has only one eye. He joins a company called Auric Enterprises, where you find out that you have to kill Dr. No. To compensate for your gammy eye, you're given a Goldeneye which allows you to see things that not even Bond himself would be able to! Whilst it's a brave and bold idea to ... Read the complete review

After having really liked the James Bond games previous to this I couldn't wait to try it. Golden Eye - Rogue agent really is an excellent game that is full of as much excitement as there ever was in a James Bond game! Once again it is full of some great new features that will keep you well and truly entertained. The game itself is once again an action game that really did in my opinion live up to its expectations. I found the graphics to be very good indeed and I thought they were the best yet, which ultimately made the game far more enjoyable to play. There was another new feature that I was particularly aware of whilst playing and that was the new E.V.I.L ... Read the complete review

*My review of Goldeneye: Rogue Agent is based on single-player experience.* The game is set in the (fictional) world of James Bond but has nothing to do with the Goldeneye film or Goldeneye 007 game. So it's excuse for having Goldeneye in it's title? You play as Mr. Hunter, who has lost an eye as well as a place in the MI6. In joining Auric Enterprises, not only do you share a common enemy in Dr. No, but - to assist in his elimination - you are given an eye which enhances your abilities: the Goldeneye. The presentation is poor in places in this FPS. Goldeneye: Rogue Agent sure takes it's time to start up; the FMV sequences feel rushed, ... Read the complete review

The name GoldenEye is a big name to live up to with GoldenEye years ago on the Nintendo 64 system set the standard for all future FPS ( First Person Shooters ). The story of the game starts with you working alongside the the legendary Bond but MI6 throw you out for brutality and sadism ( ermm isn't that describing Bond ), You then are pulled into a new Bond world the world of the bad guy. You basically work for Goldfinger fighting Dr. No for him using your weapon skills and of course a Goldeneye. The game is a first a ton of fun as you use your goldeneye to perform various special moves, you can use the MRI mode to see through walls, the shield mode ... Read the complete review

Goldeneye Rogue Agent is a shooter for the Playstation 2 developed by EA games. Your character is a failed MI6 Recruit as he ends up killing the legendary James Bond in a simulation so he joins up with Goldfinger instead! The game has a bit of a messed up story which pits Goldfinger against Doctor No in a supervillian fight and mixes in a handful of James Bond characters from Xenia Onnatop, Pussy Galore and Scaramanga. Goldeneye Rogue agents gameplay see's you take on the role of a soldier with the power of the GoldenEye itself, the gameplay plays out like a standard first person shooter but adds in some new mechanics to keep things fresh, for ...
