General/Summary: WARNING!!! Absolute crap. Several friends and I were renting some games for the weekend and this was still available. I figured, cool, a side scrolling '80s arcade game, redone for the PS2. Well, the game wasn't redone. It was the original from '85. Then I thought, well, maybe the IV in the title is the new game (so you could compare to the old).

Wrong again. The only reason this game was made was so there would be extra titles on the shelf during the holidays when all the good stuff is sold out. The producers are banking on unsuspecting parents buying this for their kids 'cause they have to buy something.

If there was a lower than 1 rating, I'd give it out. We actually played it for 15 minutes and laughed about how we just got taken for the $5 rental fee.

If I could have an original side scroller, I'd want Defender and Stargate, not this crap.
Gameplay: Still crappy. The best thing about controls for actual arcade games are their durability. You can bang them to heck and kick 'em when you die. If you do that with your PS2 your gonna go broke soon.

The gameplay is awful. Move up, shoot, move down shoot, enter boss stage and die.

Oooh, fun.

Graphics: 8 bit graphics on a 128 bit system. Why? This game should've been released for the PSX (still would've been crap). But the game would've been $10 cheaper and playable on both.

Sound: Remember what '80's games sounded like. This is just as crappy and simplistic.
