The daddy of racing sims jumped onto the PS2 in style with this fantastically detailed gorgeously good looking and hugely impressive game in 2001. The first 2 games of the series lay the ground work for this to improve to such a standard that at the time I personally thought the game couldn't be bettered as a racing simulation, though the future proved it could with the immensely impressive GT4 that was released in 2005. For those of you unsure on the GT series, the games are to motor car fans what other games have yet to fully replicate. Gran Tursimo 3 really is probably the or one of the best games of its time and in my opniion it really did shape what people thought of the PS2 for its time. Considering its age and release date the graphics were just exceptional and they were like no other in that no other car racing game could compare to it. What I love about Gran Tursimo 3 A spec is that there is a clear focus on the realistic driving simulation that it provides. In that sense this game is just an A+ because it deliver's on all accounts. There is not only a career mode but also an arcade mode which is just ideal for when racing with your friends on the track, trying to get the new record for the ... Read the complete review

As racing games go, this was probably the best for the playstation two, and offers hours of exciting fun and entertainment that is sure to keep you playing week in, week out. You start by competing in special challenges which need to be completed to aqquire the licenses, enabling you to participate in the different race series throughout the game. You then get a relatively meagre sum of money with which you have to buy the best car which suits you ,and use it to compete in as many races as you can, all the while saving money so you can buy a better car, or upgrade this origional car when the races get a little tougher a little later on. Whilst you are ... Read the complete review

This game is possibly my favourite ever console game. When it first game out it was by far the best playstation racing game of its type and everyone rushed out to buy it. As it cam eto be gran turismo made itself one of the biggest names in racing games for consoles and i cna see why. This game featured lots of cars, form your bog standard clio's to your top of the range zonda's it really had everything. The gamre had many modes too. There was sprint, endurance rally etc etc, you could play on it for hours on end and not get bored! What made it so fun was that it was challenging. You couldn't use an amazing car at the start and win everything, you started off buying ... Read the complete review
