The game that I am reviewing today is the bestseller, gran turismo 4.This high octane and fully fuelled game is one of the best real world driving simulators on the market.

The graphics on this game rate pretty well, they are not the best ever but are little from, also the sound and effects are extraordinary compared to the real world, but there is not enough engine effects for example a sports car and a muscle sound the same whereas they don't really.

This game has two different modes, gran turismo mode and arcade mode. In GT (gran turismo) mode the player has to compete in a number of different races against different people, in order to do this you must pimp up your car and buy new one's, to succeed in the game. Whereas in arcade mode the player has a choice of 3 mini modes these include; single race, multiplayer race and time trial. in single player mode the player must race against other drivers, but there is no main objective, in multiplayer race two people on the same console race In a versus type race a bit like single race but there is only two drivers, but the story is different in arcade mode each lap the players finishes is timed and recorded, after ten laps the players times are analysed to find out which lap was the fastest.

Overall this game is brilliant but I would not recommend this for first time drivers because of the great skill needed in order to complete the fantastic game.
