I was a fan of the previous GTAs, so when I got this game for my birhtday, I was more than happy to have a shot at it. This game, like the previous ones, hasn't let me down. People who say that this game will teach people that it is ok to plow people over with a stolen vehicle while firing an uzi out the window really have no idea what they're talking about. I also play Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, but that doesn't mean, even though I scate, that I'm going grab my board and attempt impossible combo's and break my neck in the process. Video games are for fun and entertainment - which is exactly what this game is about. My mind hasn't been possed by the game and I doubt anyone else's has either.

The sound is great - you hear pedestrians talk and the cops yelling at you, as well as the radio stations in the cars.

The plot of the game as well as just going by your own rules is excellent. You have such a wide variety of things to do and can spend hours doing them. Missions can be tedious, but you keep on playing because beating a mission is a personal goal. If you don't want to do missions, get in a car and follow your own rules in Vigilante mode of just trying to find hidden packages or unique jumps(which are rad). The variety of things to do in this game are endless and always entertaining.

All in all, I would give this game 5 and a half stars simply because of the fun of it all. It is a game that can be played for hours and never get boring. For people who complain about the violence and mature themes, don't buy it. It has a mature rating for a reason.
