... only problems with GTA San Andreas is that the graphics can be very poor which actually spoil the game. But I personally think that because of the way the characters, scenes, cars and surroundings are drawn stand out! Another problem would be that it can be quite violent in some ways and it can also be addictive and influencing towards young children because of it can contain drug use, sexual scenes, dangerous weapons and lots of other influential things! Otherwise, it's a brilliant game and definitely worth getting ...more

GTA: San Andreas was the greatest hit on the Playstation 2. I played this game non-stop and was over-excited about it arriving! Good thing is, I ordered it off amazon.co.uk with normal delivery for free. However, it turned up straight away on release date, which was fantastic! Just to see the box made me excited and I couldn't wait to start playing! I had read so much about it such as all the things you can do as well as the size of the map. With GTA: IV having being announced for release on 29th April 2008, the San Andreas title seems a bit old now and it is, however it is a superb game! ~~~~~~~ Gameplay ~~~~~~~ The size of the map really ...  Read the complete review

This is another game in the grand theft auto series. Although it's aimed at teenagers and adults as it has violence, prostitution and swearing in it I know a lot of kids who enjoy it. This game is okay but you are african american rather than american italian which changes the plot a bit. As well as this you have to do a lot of stuff on a bike at the start which irritated me as I really enjoy the driving aspects of the other games. Other than that it was the usual series of puzzles and challenges, following a storyline. There's also a lot of action for people who like quick thinking and exciting games. I got bored of this more quickly than I expected to and I ...  Read the complete review

The Violence is a good point to start off with, it has been given a lot of bad comments as to the violence and prostitution in the game but I thought it was pretty good to play and you dont really notice much violence, a bit absent from mind, consumed into the game, quite a big game and takes a while to complete, but i love the game and recommend it for anybody that fits the age limit and likes these kind of ...  Read the complete review

Crowned ReviewThe game where stealing a car is part of a normal day (2065 words)

Well I thought it was about time to write another PS2 game so I might as well write about the one that I have been playing recently. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is the controversially violent video game from Rockstar North that was brought out nearly two years ago. I bought it on the first day it came out and loved it then. It was only a couple of days ago that I picked it up and started the game again, realising just how much fun games could be. San Andreas is about the sixth Grand Theft Auto game to come out and probably the best. What’s the game about? Well if you are already a fan of GTA you will know that each game has a main character and a ...  Read the complete review

A long time ago (1984) in a land far away (Wales) a young boy sits hunched over his Commodore 64 absorbed in the flickering display. Ahh, memories. Those were the days when you really did need a healthy dose of imagination to get the most from your video games. One of my favourite games of that period, and certainly the one that took up most of my time, was a little gem going by the name of ‘Elite’ This space combat and trading game was remarkable at the time because despite very basic wireframe graphics it conveyed a tremendous sense of freedom. It really felt that you could play the game any way you wanted. Follow the missions or do your own thing, become a ...  Read the complete review
