GTA San Andreas

Well this is the next great game in the series of GTA. It is so much bigger and better than the one before it. It allows for so much more interaction in the game. Now being able to do things such as going to the gym and play games etc it is just beyond all other gaming experiences.

I have found that the game is just totally massive there are three different islands which are all huge. I’ve had the game for over a year and still seem to be finding things to do. The main aim of the game is to get respect. You can do this by completing missions and advancing in the game. Another way in which to get respect would be to have great stamina and muscles etc.

The game has so much detail involved it’s quite incredible. You start off at the beginning of the game trying to find your way home on a bicycle; this is the very first mission. As with most games it also gives you a little tour of where places are and what each button does etc. as you get further and further into the game you become more and more advanced and can gain entry into other areas and able to do other things.

There are lots of new features to the game such as being able to go to the gym, purchase from clothes shops, go to the barbers for a haircut, purchase food at various places and boxing. There are also new vehicles on the game such as the bicycle, new styles of cars that are more realistic that the previous games and actually have real names. Other new features include you having to increase your muscle so that you can get a girlfriend etc. Also you have to increase your stamina if you want to run or swim for long periods of time. This helps a lot as the game goes on. You can increase your stamina and muscle by going to the gym or doing things such as cycling or running for long periods of time.

There are also other things that you are able to build up on this game and this is the different skills such as driving, riding and weapon skills. These increase the more you do them. For example if you were to use a gun for a long period of time then you would gain skill in that gun and then you would perhaps be able to carry two guns at the same time. Therefore allowing you to kill people quicker.

Another thing that you should be aiming towards when you are playing the game is to get a girlfriend. To do this you have to go to the gym often and have a good rate of respect. Once you do have a girlfriend you can take her on dates. These include going to a club, having a meal, a drive by and many more things that she might like to do.

There’s so many things that I need to mention it unbelievable. There are games that you can play within the game, these include games in the casino, trucking missions where you deliver loads with different requirements, robbery you have to go out at night and steal from peoples houses and then at the end of the night you cash in all of the goods that you stole for cash. It’s a nice little money earner. You can also go to the race course and take part in the races and complete the missions that are in there.


I think that the game is great with the storyline being every better. As with the other games you can purchase properties and make revenue on them. San Andreas also allows for you to play smaller games such as games in the casino. These actually allow you to earn money.

Within the game you make a lot of new mates and gang members that help you along the way when you have a decent respect factor. Throughout the game you will do missions for Sweet, Ryder, Smoke, Cesar, Woozie and Zero. They are all of the people that I can think of at the moment but if I remember some more then I will update the review. All of them are good mind blowing missions.

There are three islands in this game that are totally massive. You cannot access the next island until you have completed all of the missions on the current island but when you have it becomes a massive world for you to explore. In one of the missions you actually visit another city, so technically there is actually four islands.

Even if you get bored of doing all of the tasks and missions on the game you can just drive around and take advantage of all the new things such as the gym etc so there is always something to do. Although you can go to the gym you can only do a set amount of exercise a day or we would all have massive muscles straight away wouldn’t we.

The graphics in this game are totally awesome unlike anything else I have ever seen and the same goes for the sound on the game. It’s quite amazing when you have the surround sound on and then you go for a little drive by, the sound, its incredible. The graphics contain a massive amount of detail in them which makes the game that bit more realistic and better, and the same goes for the sound when you using weapons etc. The game even has sound for things such as when a car is revving and people talking which I find incredible for a game in this much detail.

The game does contain a huge amount of detail but once you have played it for half an hour or so you will know all of the controls off by heart and you will be able to navigate your way around and know your way after a few hours of play. As you keep on playing the game gets harder and harder but you also get better and better so the game does become very good when you get a few missions in to it.

The game does contain quite a lot of drugs, sex references and violence so that is why it has been given a rating of 18 as with the other games f the series. The game is great. I would recommend it to anyone above the age of 18 considering they don’t mind violent drug abusing games.

The game can be purchased from most good game stores and can be purchased on the internet from sites such as Amazon or eBay. It can be purchased for around £25.00 in the shops but will be cheaper on the internet.

In my opinion I think that the game is very very good although it does contain a lot of bad language etc but it gave me a great gaming experience. It’s not far from the best game that I have ever played. I would rate the game at 9/10, it’s that good.
