Advantages: Fun, Not Bad Graphics, Loads Of Missions, Lots To Do, Sandbox Style, Many Weapons + Vehicles

Disadvantages: Violent..? Graphics Cut Off In Background

GTA: San Andreas was one of the greatest games released for the PS2 as it's simply enormous with loads to do and it's great fun to play, even today with the latest version of GTA IV having been released.

There are a few islands in the game but you will start in Los Santos, which resembles Los Angeles. You then have San Fierro, which resembles San Francisco and finally Last Venturas, which is similar to Las Vegas. This is great as you can relate each city to real places.

This game opens new doorways such as the ability to feed your character, get fat, starve your character and get thin as well as go to the gym and work out. You can also walk, drive, fly and swim around the whole city and get up to trouble and just mess around. Fun things to do include flying planes to the mountain in San Fierro and trying to land on it or getting up there and riding a bike off the jump before parachuting down.

As for the actual point to the game, you're meant to complete a series of missions. There are loads of missions on each island where you work for different people. There are side missions too, which aren't all compulsory to completing the game. There are also Oysters to find as well as photos to take to get 100% complete. The missions are fun to do and range from killing people to .. well, killing more people. But it's usually done in all different styles!

It's an excellent game and the graphics are quite impressive. The only thing is that you can't see too far into the background as the graphics simply cut off, which isn't great. The sound is good too and all the weapons have a great unique sound. You can get the game for just £9.95 on amazon.co.uk. I'd recommend it as it's got loads of great gameplay!
