Advantages: Highly playable, and with a great storyline

Disadvantages: Not for the under 18s

Grand Theft Auto is 8th release in the GTA series, produced by rockstar games. It stars CJ, a gang member, returning home after learning of his mothers murder and the plot takes you through not only his desire for revenge, but also his building of a criminal empire.

As with previous 3D versions of this game, you view the action from a 3rd person perspective, which allows greater range of movement and increased mobility of the character. Personally i'm not a big fan of the shooting style in this game, but thankfully there's a lot more to it than just blowing everyone away.

The plot has all the expected twists and turns, and the additional features such as vehicle customisation add a nice twist to a sequal that does everything you'd expect from the latest in the Grand Theft Auto series.

I couldn't put it down once I'd picked it up, and i'd definately recommend it to anyone. One word of warning though... NOT a game for the younger kids.

Summary: Good value for money game
