Rating:
Surprisingly, there aren't many games that have been made about the wild west, given how it's thematically rich, and has been referenced so much in cinema. Nevertheless, Gun hopes to change that, in what is a stunning outing with some great set pieces and fun battles. It combines the roaming aspects of GTA with an entirely different, Wild West style aesthetic. You play Colton, whose father, in his dying words, informs you that he in fact ISN'T your dad, and instructs you to go to a waiting contact. This sets you on a journey of discovery, as you search for the man responsible for your father figure's death, whilst trying to keep away from the law, who are ... Read the complete review

You play the game as Colton ''Cole'' White. The year is 1880, and you are hunting game with your father, (This is used as a tutorial, showing you how to move and fire weapons.) After boarding a ship, Cole talks to a prostitute who shows him something in the ship's safe. A preacher then boards the ship, and begins to ask the prostitute where 'It' is. She tries to run away, and he kills her, whilst signaling for a group of ambushers to attack the ship. You hold them off, but then the ship explodes. You make your way to Dodge City. After you complete a couple of missions you help to finish the railroad, thus unlocking the second city in the game. You then ... Read the complete review

GUN, i have to say is a great game. Some may call it a spin-off of GTA, but Western Style. However, even though GTA (San Andreas) is fantastic, it is mainly the environment, as the levels are not exactly perfect (still excellent). However, with GUN, it is a smaller environment, but the levels are nearly perfect. This game has 5 difficulty ratings. I suggest normal first. Easy mode is very easy at the start. Story. ****** You play as Colton White, and when he has lost his dad and life has robbed him of everything that matters to him, he goes out on a quest to get revenge on anyone that has wronged him. You follow him and his trusty ... Read the complete review
