Disadvantages: Some sections of the game can be repetitive.

Half Life 2 continues the story from the popular game Half Life. We see the story develop and push forward as events unfold and secrets are revealed. This first person shooter contains a mild dose of gore and violence but keeps your heart racing as you move through each section in the game. The gameplay is comfortable and you may even find sections too easy. Most sequels do not meet the standards of its predecessor, but Half Life 2 packs in a huge amount of gameplay as well as replay value and you can expect the storyline to draw you further into the game itself.

However if you plan to play Half Life 2 i do recommend that you play its predecessor Half Life if you have not already done so, the storyline picks up from the first game and events may confuse you if you have not played the first game.

Summary: An awesome sequel, i give it an 8/10
