I didn't play the last Harry Potter game on Play Station so I was looking forward to seeing this one, I always get excited when I get a new game because it's a new challenge. It is probably best to play this game either if you have read the book or seen the film because you might recognise some scenes and be able to get through the game by knowing certain things. Although this game is based on a film for younger people the game is not simple there are some difficult parts which I have had to stop at and play another day because I wasn't sure how to pass the section. You definitely need a memory card for this game because it is impossible to pass certain areas ... Read the complete review

Based on the second book by J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets begins with the main character, Harry, staying in The Burrow with the Weasleys. There you'll be asked to help de-gnome the garden, tackle a mad washing machine and learn to use the basic controls of the game with help from Fred, George and Ron. You'll then join (after getting lost with the Floo powder) Mrs. Weasley, Ginny and Ron for a trip to Diagon Alley, where you'll need to buy your new school supplies (Standard Book of Spells (Grade 2) and a potion vial) from different shops and do a small task for Ginny, who seems to have dropped all her supplies when she was ... I didn't ever buy the 1st one, but I then bought this one and it was also a lot cheaper and I got it for about £7. I put the game in and it all starts at Ron's house, and it's sort of an introduction to the game and getting use to the controllers and the things you can do. You first have to shoot with your wand and also defend your self from a washing machine. You then go on to throwing gnomes out of the garden, then start to move on to school. When at school I think it is a blast as it is really like being in Harry Potter inside Hogwarts. I love the fact that you are not just stuck to doing what you need to do but you can go anywhere, ... Harry Potter is one of the most successful books ever written, this game is based on the second Harry Potter book called the chamber of secrets. It follows the same story as the book and film starting at the Weasley's house, the burrow. Harry has just been rescued from the Dursley's in their flying ford. Soon you are back at Hogwarts and you have to go through the school year completing many tasks, learning spells, collecting wizard cards and beans, unlocking the secrets of Hogwarts, having adventures and finally facing you know who, also known as Tom Riddle. Throughout the game you learn new spells and gain new abilities, this makes you stronger ... Read the complete review
