I didn't play the last Harry Potter game on Play Station so I was looking forward to seeing this one, I always get excited when I get a new game because it's a new challenge. It is probably best to play this game either if you have read the book or seen the film because you might recognise some scenes and be able to get through the game by knowing certain things. Although this game is based on a film for younger people the game is not simple there are some difficult parts which I have had to stop at and play another day because I wasn't sure how to pass the section. Based on the second book by J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets begins with the main character, Harry, staying in The Burrow with the Weasleys. The storyline follows the story of the second book in J.K Rowlings Harry Potter series and has Harry being warned by a house elf not to return to Hogwarts, this journey follows his second year at the school and includes all the main events from meeting the new Defence against the Dark arts teacher Gilderoy Lockhart , buying new spell books in Diagon Alley, hiding from Malfoy in Borgin and Burkes all the way to battling the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets. I didn't ever buy the 1st one, but I then bought this one and it was also a lot cheaper and I got it for about £7. I put the game in and it all starts at Ron's house, and it's sort of an introduction to the game and getting use to the controllers and the things you can do. You first have to shoot with your wand and also defend your self from a washing machine. You then go on to throwing gnomes out of the garden, then start to move on to school. When at school I think it is a blast as it is really like being in Harry Potter inside Hogwarts. Harry Potter is one of the most successful books ever written, this game is based on the second Harry Potter book called the chamber of secrets.
