Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is an action game developed by EA for the Playstation 2. This game is based on the third book in J.K Rowlings Harry Potter series and follows the young wizards adventures during his third year at Hogwarts. The storyline sees the wizarding world thrown into panic as Sirius Black a dangerous killer is on the loose and his sights are set on Harry. This is one of the best games in the harry potter series. The game is based on arguably the best harry potter book and is undoubtedly aided in this respect since the game follows the events of the book pretty closely. The gameplay is of a very high quality, and spells work pretty well, with the ability to assign two spells, one to square and one to triangle. You can change the assigned spells at any point. This lets you feel that you are in control of which spells are cast. A particularly good spell is the Expecto Patronus (gets rid of dementors) whose strength varies upon how long you choose to power the spell. For those out there who are either fans of the book or film, or most likely both then this game is a pretty good complement to both versions. In the game you get to play as Harry, Ron or Hermione and the games sticks pretty closely to the storyline of the book with only the occasional deviation. You are able to switch between the different characters during the game play and I certainly found the controls very easy to master however some thought has to be given to which two magic spells you will equip each trainee wizard with.
