Advantages: Great plot and nice gameplay

Disadvantages: No two player

This is one of the best games in the harry potter series. The game is based on arguably the best harry potter book and is undoubtedly aided in this respect since the game follows the events of the book pretty closely.

The gameplay is of a very high quality, and spells work pretty well, with the ability to assign two spells, one to square and one to triangle. You can change the assigned spells at any point. This lets you feel that you are in control of which spells are cast. A particularly good spell is the Expecto Patronus (gets rid of dementors) whose strength varies upon how long you choose to power the spell.

My favourite part of this game is the ability to free roam around the castle. This is enhanced brilliantly by the inclusion of Buckbeak (which for non-harry potter fans is a flying beast). You can freely explore the Hogwarts castle from the air with Buckbeak, land and get on again at any open spot. This provides a really magical touch to a very well made game.

Summary: Very good game
