Upon buying this game I really wasn't sure what to expect as the only other tennis games I have played on have been far more conventional in the sense of being more realistic. I think it is clear from the look of the game that the idea is more based on being a family fun game and to an extent this is definately the case. I would really recommend this game as a game to just have fun with but I wouldn't recommend it for hard core tennis fans because I felt that the gameplay and modes were two basic.
Despite this it is still a very fun game to play on and what I loved about it was how it can be enjoyed by everyone at all levels. The graphcis are quite cartoony which I liked to an extent however, it did comprimise the look and feel of the game. The two player action is great fun and makes the game worth playing on in itself. For a cheap game to keep you happy I think this is well worth the money, however anything more and I feel it is just to basic and lacked anything more. I hope this was useful and thank you very much for reading this!
I saw this game in the shops; as a sports fan i thought it looked rather good. I took it home and immediately began playing. I was not impressed by the graphics which i thought, compared to many other ps 2 games were particularly poor, this is compared to games such as fifa football and tiger woods pga tour 07. Graphics aside, i also felt that the game was rather simplistic with no main aim or challenge posed. Although all i have said so far is negative, I did enjoy the game when i looked at it for what it was, a simple game whose aim is to give a fun if unrealistic view of a game of tennis. I felt that this was not close to being a competitor for the wee sports version of tennis. I also felt that it was rather over priced for what it is.
