This game is based on the film called ice age 2. In this game, you take on the role of scrat, a crazy squirrel guy, who is obsessed with nuts! In order to move from one level to the next, you must collect a certain number of "golden nuts". Golden nuts can be obtained by performing certain "mini games almost" such as penguin bowling, or some other mini game (there are tons, there would be no point going through them all, but they are all common games, but they involve using prehistoric creatures as targets and the equipment and so on). This game is based on the latest film of the same name from Dreamworks studio. In the game you take control of Scrat and move through various scenes to get your precious acorns and other goodies. The box gives you a few hints of what you will get in the game. 'Take control of Scrat and other characters..' reads the blurb on the back of the box. '..take part in side games including Sid's slippery sloth challenge' says another part.
