After spending all too many hours playing Pro Evolution Soccer on my brothers Playstation 2, I was not convinced that ISS 2 would satisfy me as much as PES did, being the finest football game out in my opinion. So I took the caution of borrowing it off of a friend, just for a few days, until the days turned into weeks… I found that so many flaws that PES had, ISS 2 delivered in and although not perfect it is still very enjoyable. Fans of the long running International Superstar Soccer series on the Playstation are likely to be drawn towards ISS when they upgrade to the PS2, they are likely to be surprised as it is a very different game to the PSone outings. The PSone games were programmed by KCET, whilst this game was produced by KCEO (who were responsible for ISS on the N64). There is a new opinion to this game called World League which has potential but I do not enjoy, you create a league of teams ... Read the complete review

>> Background Info << After the ISS evolution series I was dying to get my hands on a copy of this for the PS2, will it live up to its majestic predessecors? >> Graphics << As PS2 games go, they are pretty poor. As football games go, they are darn fine my friend! >> Gameplay << Very difficult at first, however I feel this is the appeal of ISS games, you know that when you have scored a goal, you actually did it! Not like on Fifa where scorchers are a regular occurence! Its all about timing and touch, and the analgue buttons make it even more of a true footballers game. The harder you press the ...
