The third person format works well and the wall hug and aiming round corners is a great way of playing the game stealthily. As far a long term value goes, there is a good multiplayer side game with its own unique story line. Also once completed there are challenges and awards that are very addictive and I have spent more time trying to complete levels with no bullets, or not loosing an...more

Premium Review James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing (PS2): Great, best ps2 game ever! (162 words)

James Bond 007: Everything or nothing is the best James Bond game I have ever played. Despite being on an old platform: PS2, still would be hard torn between playing this and a new xbox 360 James bond game. In my opinion, this game is the PS2 equivalent of the massively successful GoldenEye on Nintendo 64. The storyline is well written and completely new so the ending is exciting like watching a film. The third person format works well and the wall hug and aiming round corners is a great way of playing the game stealthily. Premium Review Be Bond! (513 words)

Rating:

007 is back in the video-game 007: Everything or Nothing. This game is the closest I've ever felt to actually being inside an actual James Bond 007 film. It is top quality action. The 007 games up till now have been in the first person view point (you just see a gun or hand) now it is in 3rd person and it's all the better for it. It has a hand to hand combat system which is great for those stealth kills. The game provides immense enjoyment killing all those baddies and using all those gadgets made by Q (Q Spider, Cloak to name a few). You battle some classic Bond Villians too (I won't give them all away but I'll tease you with this, Jaws is in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing (PS2): Co-op to end all co-ops (205 words)
by - written on 05/05/09 (Very useful, 77 readings)
Rating:

This is slightly more than a typical Bond game and this is owed to its sophistication. As mentioned, by another reviewer, the game features a stunning cast including Brosnan, Dench and Cleese as Q. These voices are not essential but certainly add to the feeling of the game. The game features three modes: singleplayer, co-op and multiplayer. Oddly the multiplayer has taken a real back step from previous Bond ventures and is scarcely playable, with arenas being absolute miniscule and only a single camera so that all players are visible on the whole screen at all times. However this aside, the singleplayer and co-op are both fantastic. They are aided by a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Give Me Everything or Nothing... (288 words)

Rating:

After the glory days of Goldeneye on the N64, James Bond games set themselves a high standard early on. Whilst not the classic that Goldeneye was, Everything or Nothing is still an excellent game. ***Single Player*** The single player missions are engaging; the numerous cut scenes give an immersive feel, and do a good job at drawing you into the story. The story element is complimented by side training missions which are an entertaining way of learning new skills and setting yourself the challenge of bettering previous performances. The whole thing took a few days to complete, but when you play on a game solidly, that's what you come to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing (PS2): Another superb Bond game in "Everything for nothing." (290 words)
by - written on 04/06/09 (Useful, 5 readings)
Rating:

I have been a really big fan of the James Bond games since the start and I couldn't wait to try this game. I really did find James Bond - Everythign or nothing to be an excellent game and I really would recommend it. The game itself is an action game like the rest of the series and it really is full of excitement and will keep you entertained thoughout. It is a third person shooter game and I found that the graphics really were exceptional considering that it is on the PS2. It seemed that a big improvement in general had been made to the graphics on the game and it really did make it more enjoyable to play. There is also a new feature of how the game is a ...  Read the complete review
