Advantages: It's all gooooood
Disadvantages: None really
Anyone who has even walked past a video game shop will have heard of Final Fantasy games, the best RPG fantasy games out there. And anyone who lives in this universe has heard of Disney.
So, when put together, you get a very big bang, with a very welcome variation on the normal, repetitive storylines of Final Fantasy. This game is aimed at the upper end of the (typical, this indicates nothing about me) age range of Disney fans. It is quite a challenging game for younger people, but even individuals my age have a hard time at some points, so proves to be a good investment for keeping the kiddies entertained. The only problem is, it is addictive, and even food doesn't make them want to leave it. It should also have a warning label; "Infighting between siblings may occur".
The characters are mostly from the Disney movies, and the player has great delight in identifying them ("ooooh, she's from ....."). It has a huge variety of different worlds, each themed on a Disney movie. There are a lot of video clips within the movies, making the game into a story, the baseline of which is the search for Mickey Mouse, who's gone missing.
The only problem I can find with it is that there isn't all that much to do apart from fighting the huge variety of monsters. There are no puzzles or many extra quests that don't involve finding things in chests, which are dotted around all the worlds. However, I only noticed this fact after I had completed the game, and was playing it for the third time, which doesn't bother me: I've had many hours of fun playing it, and was fully worth the money I paid.
Summary: Great investment if you like RPG fantasy.
