... m always weary when attempting to play a sequel of a game never having played any of those that presceeded it, but when my friend game me a loan of Dynasty Warriors 5 and told me i d enjoy it, Who was I to say no? Samurai Warriors 2: Empires (PS2) ... instalment of hacking, chopping, and slashing, with Samurai Warriors 2: Empires. Just like Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires, this time, KOEI s Samurai Warriors series takes on the Empires name and tries to illuminate the features that made Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires special and unique, which Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires clearly failed to achieve. Warriors Orochi (PS2) ... d think that in an industry that has once again come to embrace simple gameplay, the Dynasty Warriors games would have garnered more acclaim than they have done. KOEI s modern take on an old formula is a shrewd one; stripped down to the bare bones, their games are little more than arcade button-bashers, but clever use of the hardware has allowed them to masquerade as grand, epic hack n slash feasts. And yet, the steady flow of spin-offs and sequels have seen the Warriors games hit rock-bottom with the critics, whose near-hatred of the series seems difficult to fathom. Samurai Warriors 2 (PS2) ... Warriors 2, the next instalment to the Samurai Warriors series, though it only has minor improvements from the previous Samurai Warriors, this is still a worthy purchase if you enjoy a good hack n slash game. This game offers you to play through Sengoku history as famous warriors from that period. The main goal of the game as usual, is to kill the enemy ruler to win the battles, but to do so; you have to fight through numerous officers and hundreds of soldiers, while you also have to defend your own ruler.
