... move or something to defeat a boss or complete the part of the game you are in. There are many puzzles in the Tomb Raider games and this one doesnt disappoint you. The puzzles are interesting and really make you work your brain to sort out what to do. The sound effects fit in well with the levels and make it a much more exciting experience than in the early games. Some bits are quite scary with the added atmosphere of the music. There are four countries you visit in the game, Peru, Greece, Egypt and Lost Island. ...more

Premium Review Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS2): Great remake of the orginal Tomb Raider game (584 words)
by - written on 09/09/09 (Very useful, 28 readings)
Rating:

This game is a remake of the original Tomb Raider game from back in 1996. If you are familiar with the original game then it is a real pleasure playing this version of it as you revisit the same places as in the last game and fight the same kid of enemies but they are all brought up to date with fabulous graphics and much more enjoyment to the game. The game story is practically the same as the original story but more involved as it mentions about Lara looking for clues about her mother's disappearance (which was introduced in the previous game Tomb Raider Legend). Lara is looking for the Scion which is an artifact which she believes will help her find out ...  Read the complete review

However, I have been on forums where loyal fans discuss the Tomb Raider series, so I will use what I have read about the original in this ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS2): An excellent remake (179 words)
by - written on 12/01/09 (Useful, 36 readings)
Rating:

I am so glad Eidos and Crystal Dynamics remade the original Tomb Raider game. They have absolutely nailed it. Especially now they have made it the same format and gameplay as Tomb Raider Legend. The graphics are 100 times better than the original and the plot has a few more twists added onto it. Again Tomb Raider Anniversary sees Lara Croft search the globe for the ancient Scion artifact. While doing so she must fight off bears, wolves, angry mercenaries, ancient superhuman mummies and the evil Atlantean goddess Natla. This game brings back features from Legend such as the Grapling Hook which is now slightly different. The only difference to this ...  Read the complete review
