Advantages: Addicitve fun

Disadvantages: Frustratingly difficult in places

If you haven't heard of lemming you have to have been living under a rock for the last 20 years. Lemmings was one of the first games made for the computer and has sparked the release of this new remake for the PS2. Theres no doubt that the nostalgic element has helped sales, but none the less it has earnt its legendary status.

No-one truly know's what it is about leading a bunch of green haired creatures to safety over cliffs, water and dangerous objects that made this game so highly addictive, but it certainly is a good game.

You get given a team of lemmings placed on a 2 dimensional, and given the task of leadng them to safety over different obstacles. You d this using the ladders, bombs, drills and other equipment given to you at the beggining of the game.

The first levels of the game tend to be easy, using simple enviroments and getting given plenty of equipment, but as you progress the game gets harder to the point where it seemingly impossible. It gets very frustrating after a while, if you can't do a level so be advised it creates more stress than it releaves.

This is definately a great game although frustratingly hard in places, backed up with an entertaining sound track with songs such as the can can. Be warned, the addictive qualities of this game may make you fail to get important jobs done at home.

Summary: Great game with high difficulty level
