Advantages: The classic fun

Disadvantages: The eyetoy rubbishness

Back in the day i would play lemmings on my Sega mega drive. The unique gameplay of guiding stupid little green haired things to a safe exit was a shockingly entertaining thing to do. It was also fun to watch it all go wrong, and either see your little green people meet their maker by getting set of fire, or falling in a pit, or even killing them yourselves with a self implode button!

Much of this great gameplay was carried over onto the PS2 version of the game. the basis was the same, you had to get the lemmings to the exit anyway possible. obviously the graphics were dramaticly improved and you could zoom closer and fruther out than ever before. Some puzzles were just too hard for me though, but I could just skip them, even if I did feel a bit ashamed!

There is also the other touch of the eye toy being used in it! This sounded amazing and made me buy the game, but it failed to live up to my expectation, you could build a bridge with your body so that the lemmings could walk across, but all to often the camera would not pick you up, or it would cause you to squash your lemmings when it wasn't your fault, this lead to some very stressful moments. So if you are buying it because of that, don't, but the other normal gameplay is great!

Summary: A good game, but play it without the eyetoy
