Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Not suitiable for anyone over the age of 8
Loony toons back in action is the game based on the film from warner bros. The overall aim of this game is unlock the secrets behind the blue monkey crystal, and to save the world from an evil organization that want to use the crystal to power a "doomsday device".
Even though there is an overall aim to the game, this does not really come across whilst playing the game. It feels more like all you have to do is just get tot he end of each level alive, rather than actually do any specific thing. You can play as one of two characters,a choice between bugs bunny, or daffney duck, and each one has different moves. For example, bugs bunny can use his ears as helicopter rotors, and fly/hover a little, extending his jump. This game does contain some mild humor, which makes it slightly enjoyable, but the humor is more aimed at much younger kids, and even for younger kids, its still a little lame.
On things that i really did not like about the game was the fact that it needed a lot of storage space on the memory card in order to allow you to save you game. Furthermore, there were only five differently themed environments.
A plus, in defense of this game, is that the graphics were in true loony tune style. Furthermore, if any of you have really young children, say aged lower than eight years old, and you want a cheap game that will keep them busy for a while, this will do it. You can pick up the game. in a used condition, off amazon for under £4. I however would urge you not to believe what it says on the back, about it being for all fans of loony tunes, no matter what the age. This game really is for very young children at best.
Hope this was useful
