Once again Activision and Marvel capitalize on the success of the X-Men Legends franchise and this time launched an even bigger project which in the end falls short of what I had expected. It is available for PS2, PSP, XBOX, and Wii. This time heroes from all across the Marvel universe assemble to take on the Masters of Evil, a huge group of supervillains led by Dr. Doom. You can play as characters like Spider Man, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Ms Marvel, Captain America, Nick Fury, Blade, The Fantastic Four, and tons of others. I grew up watching the cartoons on the Marvel characters - Spiderman, Fantastic 4, Ironman, Captain America, X-Men - so I was delighted to hear that they were all included in a game. Running on the X-Men Legends engine it is much, much more fun multiplayer than single player. The reason for this is because the levels get quite repetative after a while, but also because the AI of your allies is so poor. A PG that you can probably pick up for around £15 now, this is an absolute bargain.
