Advantages: Amazing and exhillerating multiplayer

Disadvantages: Poor singleplayer

As long as you have friends... ..this game is absolutely unreal. If you get either three players and a computer or four players and just play the arcade mode, this game will provide a good couple hours of solid entertainment. I think actually three players is arguably better because the computer players are well programmed and if you set them as the highest difficulty level they are extremely good- it makes for funnier races because one of you will tend to get singled out by the computer and punished.

I found the one player to be woefully dull but unfortunately it has to be done to unlock all of the tracks which is a must. The tracks by the way are well designed and al different, with different aspects such as sudden drops, ice and traffic. If you are looking for a multiplayer arcade game then look no further and snap this up, because it is the best non shooter multiplayer I have played by a country mile on the ps2.
