Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance is an action game for the Playstation 2, it isn't to Sons of Liberty just a definitive version of it. The story follows the legendary hero of Shadow Moses Solid Snake, during the opening segments of the game you will follow Snake as he attempts to stop his brother Liquid Ocelot (Liquids arm controls Ocelot) as they attempt to steal a new more powerful version of Metal Gear, Metal Gear Ray. Metal Gear Solid 2 is probably the weakest of the series. It starts off well with Solid Snake infiltrating a tanker two years after the events of the previous game, Metal Gear Solid. However, a third of the way through the action resets and you end up controlling new character Raiden, who is just a bit girly. (He's a platinum blonde with long hair.) After this point, anyone who played the PSone MGS (or the Gamecube remake Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes) will probably shout "boring" and switch off. This review is about Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, I will be giving information about all the new features in this game, and what new stuff you can get. The aim of this game is to stop the Big Shell from blowing up, that’s if you are doing Raiden's (one of the main characters) story, and if you are doing Snake's (another main character) story, then you have to stop the Metal Gear from going under control by Ocelot (this bad western person, who’s really Liquid Snake, Liquid Snake is the bad guy in the first MGS).
