	Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (PS2) ... is another in the long line of games that were first ignited when I was but a young gamer, The Mortal Kombat series in the mid 90s went head to head with Streetfighter, though in many peoples eyes it never toppled the Capcom super hit. But it did provide some excellent games along the way. One of the things I like about Mortal Kombat is that it s much more gritty than Streetfighter, I always felt there was something very cartoonish about Eddy Honda and Chun Li etc where as there was a venom about Sub Zero and Raiden. I was a little girl, and that’s going back a few years, my brother had a Commodore 64 computer, among all the great games he owned such as Paperboy and Flimbo’s Quest was Gauntlet, a platform style game where you took the form of either a warrior, wizard, elf or Valkyrie, you could personalise your character, well you could choose their colour-red, yellow, green or blue, and venture through dungeons battling ghosts, collecting food for life energy, gold and keys.
