Premium Review Monsters, Inc. - Scare Island (PS2): Monsters Inc: Scare Island... More of a comedy than a horror (1057 words)

Monsters Inc. was the game that was released alongside the Disney Pixar film. The film was a great sucess and this is my review on the game. The film was about a parallel universe of monsters, who by entering random doors were transported to different locations, the vast majority being children's bedrooms and their duty was to scare the children and their screams were used as power for the city. They believed though, that children were hazardous, so when a child got into the monster universe, a situation was created around the two main characters, Mike (character: small, green, one eye) and Sulley (character: big, fluffy, weird name) So that was the ...

This is quite a strange game indeed. Then again so was also the film i suppose. However by all means i dont mean that it is a rubbish game at all. Its quite the other way around. So who are these two wonderful monsters indeed. The one called Sulley is the big blue hairy guy with claws and a voice like John Goodman, and Mike is the feisty little green fellow with one eye. Out of the two of them Mike looks more like a scary monster than Sully, as Sully looks big and adorable! Just like the film, the game follows the same theme. Which is the monsters are scared of little children. As they live in a world that is scared of children just like the children ...
