Title: Moto GP Format: PS2 Publisher: Namco There’s something about Motorbikes that attracts millions of people to them. It’s quite probably the speed, more than likely something to do with the freedom and no doubt the desire to ride around with your lights on all day may come in to it somewhere. Well, perhaps not that last bit but one thing is for certain – they can be fast. Motorbike gaming titles are actually fairly common too although nowhere near as frequent or varied as their four-wheeled counterparts. For me there are three titles that stand out from the crowd. The first has got to be Electronic Arts’ ... Read the complete review

Forget 4 wheels try 2 instead,as Namco has released Moto GP on PS2.Done by the same team who brought you Ridge Racer 5 this game unlike its Ridge Racer cousin is actually very good. Namco hasn't just converted their Arcade machine they have put some effort into making this a great game,it has an official F.I.M license so all the real riders and 5 of the courses are present(Suzuka,Castle Donnington etc)but its also more than your average arcade racer, imagine Gran Turismo on 2 wheels and you get a rough idea. Not only do you get the usual Arcade(finish the course move onto the next),Time Trial and 2 player(which is very disappointing)option their is a ... Read the complete review

Moto GP is an arcade bike sim. It has incredible graphics that draw you into the incredible gameplay. The bikes handle smoothly and realistic scenery and tracks add to the whole mood of the game. The 5 tracks have crowds of people that react to every move of the riders, cheer, wave and wave flags of your team to make you go faster...and you do. Every detail of the game is perfect and makes you want to race faster and faster to beat your rivals. The only downfall of the gamne is it's incredibly short completion time. As there is only 5 tracks and 3 levels of difficulty with the maximum of 5 seasons on, hard mode, the game is fairly short. Despite this the sheerly ... Read the complete review

Do you want the thrills and spills of high octane motor racing? Well, why not take a look at Moto GP for the Playstation 2! This is one of those average games where it tries to be different especially as it makes it's first outing on the new PS2 but sadly it's neither here or there. There is nothing new to this game as with other motorcycling games but still, it isnt that bad either. When you start the game you are asked your name and your nationality. The next nice little touch is the option to choose your riders helmet from a choice of 16. All the colours are there and the same with patterns. Then you move onto the main screen presenting ... Do you really want 4 wheels? Why not change them for 2 and give the best PS2 racer to date a run for your money? This game includes lots of options with lots of different mode to play, there is a season mode to play where you pick your team but you can only pick from 3 teams at the start then ride for that team in a season. There is the arcade mode where you just get down and race with one of the many different bikes to choose from, you can also make your own rider, give him a name and nationality and then pick his helmet style. The game includes a mighty challenge mode where you try to do certain challenges and if you are succesful then a secret is unlocked in the game. ... Read the complete review
