Advantages: Well produced

Disadvantages: You have to make a choic between doing skills and winning matches

I was less impressed by this game than other reviewers. I took for granted that the game would run smoothly and have good graphics because it was made by EA Sports. I was right in this sense because the game is well produced and does run well. However this game does have its shortcomings in my experience.

The major problem is the balance between doing tricks and winning games. The game leaves the player completely unsure as to what they should be aiming to do. Good skills or winning the game? Some might say that this gives you more choice but I think that it confuses the game. Unfortunately skills don't tend to help towards winning and if you want to win, you are better off abandoning skills.

EA could have worked out a better way to introduce tricks so that they actually complemented gameplay and could really help you win matches.

On the other hand, this game is well made and you won't be dissatisfied by the production- just the game is a bit limited.

Summary: Doesn't really work
