Need for Speed Pro Street is a real racer only this time all races are legal!!!! The story of Pro Street is as follows; you're a illegal street racer but decided you had enough of the cop chases so you went into the legal side of racing. Like always you start in a bad car which has poor acceleration and handling. Your first race will be a great shock I've you have played other race you'll notice your car slides easily and that helps taking corners. In Pro Street your car is just nailed to the ground and corners are extremely hard to take. Ones you get used to this it feels normal and you'll like as it feels more realistic. The game is overly sponsored by oil ... Read the complete review

I've been a huge fan of EA Games "Need For Speed" car racing games ever since they first hit the market back in around 2002. I already have three games in the series, the most recent being "Need For Speed Carbon" which I purchased as a Christmas present for my daughter (heh, heh) back in 2006. So I awaited with some anticipation the latest offering that was released in October of this year, "Need For Speed Pro Street", as it would make another nice wee stocking filler for my daughter's Christmas this year. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!) Unfortunately, this new game simply isn't a patch on its ... Read the complete review

What happened to Need for Speed. This game definetly isn't like any others, Pro Street is the equivalent of Gran Turismo 4 made awful. In other words, there is no free roaming, the tracks are limited and the gameplay is very hard to get to grips with. So the career, I though the layout was ok. However, not anything special. To complete the career you need to complete several "Race Days" which involve several different events. There are to many to go into detail with, although the main ones are still there: sprint, circuit, time attack, drag and drift. Personally, I liked the career in Most Wanted much better. In Most Wanted you could roam about, find ... Read the complete review

Oh dear! What on earth has happened to Need For Speed?? In my opinion this game has gone and ruined an excellent series of driving games. With the obvious illegality of street racing the makers of Need For Speed have decided to make everything more legal. Gone are the days of racing through the city streets avoiding cars and police roadblocks! There are now a variety of structured races such as Sector Shootout, Drift, Wheelie competition, Top Speed Run, Speed Challenges and many others. The whole idea of the game is set around a Race Day, meaning you get to compete with other racing drivers from around the world. There is a new damage feature, ... Read the complete review
