Open Season (PS2)

Open Season for the Playstation 2. Ubisoft bring us another little platformer based on an animated movie. In this effort you take control of Bogg and Elliot, the two main stars of the movie, and guide them through the story mode which is based on the plot of the movie. Standard stuff here, is it any good though: Well the game play is ok, a little awkward at times and if being honest it's quite limited to what you can do. This game is just too slow paced and does not have enough pace to it to make it at all interesting to play. It is based on an animated Disney film. In the game you play as either Boog a bear or Ellot a deer as you attempt to avoid the various hunters, the only plus point is that you get to throw skunks and rabbits at the hunters as you try and escape from the forest. In all there are 25 assignments to complete and some of the assignments require you to gather things from the forest and in my opinion there are far too many levels that are of this type.
