Advantages: Practice, Learn Rules

Disadvantages: All could be done on free poker software

As great as poker simulations are, and this is a particualrly good one, having played it with a friend, i can tell you that it is one of the better ones, I just don't really quite get the point. Why pay for this when you could download real online poker software for free. The gamplay is exactly the same, and even if you think that you don't want to spend any money, then almost all poker sites have 'freerolls' which give you the chance to win something for nothing, or 'play money' games which allow you to practice and build up your technical skills. And to be honest, if you are going to buy this, the chances are that you like poker, so why don't put the money you would spend on this onto an online account and give yourself the chance to make some easy money, or better still, go down to a local cardroom and meet and paly with other poker players. Just a thought

Summary: A bit of a waste of time in my opinion
