My 5 year old son got this game for Christmas. He is a mad fan of all things Power Rangers and would probably like to be one! This game was his top present and the first one to be played with on Christmas Day. We believe Grandma bought it at Game although its out of stock there at the moment. You can however get at Amazon for 16.48.
This game is very easy to play with easy controls for the characters. In the game you play as one of 20 power rangers but throughout the game you need to unlock new rangers to play as.
You can play this on your own or as a two player co operative.
The Lord Zed (baddie) is trying to destroy every Power Ranger throughout time - it is your job to defeat him. There are loads of villians and enemies to battle as you go through he game with Megazords to defeat at the end of every 2 levels.
It took daddy about a week, maybe more, to get through all the levels but is still trying to unlock all the rangers. There are some girl power rangers for all you girl gamers out there.
This is a platform game. The graphics are really detailed and the backgrounds vary from a future city to a Japanese forest.
The characters look very realistic, the baddies react to the moves that you make and the power rangers have a good range of attacks from guns to punches and kicks. The power rangers sometimes speak e.g " HE YA" when they are attacking. There isnt any annoying background music just sound effects linked to the game.
A great game to keep kids occupied but would be too easy for anyone older than 12
