Advantages: Very Realistic
Disadvantages: Not many licences
This game has been the best football game around for a long time now and its keeps getting more popular while the Fifa series is losing a bit interest. Pro evos game play is twice the game play of Fifa. Every year the two games come out and Pro always comes out best. The more the game goes on the bigger crowd of supporters the game is getting. John Terry and Thierry Henry are on the front cover as they are great fans themselves. Apparently Henry has been playing it for ten years now so it has to be a good game. The graphics are stunning on this game and they have made it a lot more realistic with personal and unique actions on certain players. Fifa may have the licensing but they havent got much on the gameplay. Pro evolution will take a little time to get use to, but after that you will be wanting to play it again and again. it is very addictive. This game also has online play which is a fun new feature, you can play anyone in the world
Gameplay
If you play the two games (pro and fifa) you will immediatly think pro is lot more complex and it is all up to you while fifa is easy on the ball and can easily score from distance. In game play theres no comparrison. This is a much better game to play with your mates as well. The multiplayer is very good. Theres more freedom on fifa, but pro is real football you cant just pass it to the striker and score. You need to keep possesion as it is difficult to get it back. The skills are impressive with ronaldinhos famous zig zag move and ronaldos step overs. It even has the maradona turn, along with the cruyff turn and the dummy. These come in usefull while playing the game. The tactics you can pick before the game and during is very good. Has many, many stats just on one player. Its easy to pick the formations and caption etc. You can replay anything you want to look back on and if you score a good goal you can save them and watch them back which i do a lot. You can play up to 22 players also if you had a multitap which would be incredably fun
Graphics
The graphics on pro are the best on any football game fifa come closest, but pro just wins it. Just looks the most realistic. The faces on most of the players are carbon copys of the actual players in real life. The stadiums are replicas of them in real life . It has five of englands stadiums. Old Trafford, Highbury, Stamford Bridge, Anfield and St. James's Park are the ones featured and when you see them in gameplay its like watching tv. The graphics dont really improve through the series just get a little amout better. Theres not much you canb do to them to improve them though anyway.
Commentry/ Game Modes/ Features
The commentry is done by Peter Brackly and Trevor Brooking and it is a bit bland. I must say for commentry Fifa is better for that. But it is still good enough. The commentry can be a bit late after the actual play sometimes and it does sometimes say the wrong thing. Although the sound from the crowd is class you can hear chants and when someone scores it really does sound realistic. While picking game modes and choosing teams the music is a catchy tune but cannot be changed. The modes to pick from are a normal game a master league where you start of a bad club then you need to go up the league and sign players and eventually be the best team on the game. I frequently go on master league, it is a major part of the game. Once youve picked your team it is very good you can train with them, change the kit and try and buy players to improve your squad. There are also Cup mode and league mode, they are obvious what they are. Everytime you play a game you will get some point which will automatically save on to your memory card and once you have got a good sum of money you can go on the shop feature on the game and from there you can buy different balls old classic teams like 'classic brazil' woth pele in. You can also buy new stadiums etc. There is a good training regime to help you get better on the game. With many challenges and not just kicking it around. You will have to hit the targets from free kicks and try and keep the ball for the longest amount of time.
Difficulty / Game in General
This game is difficult for first time players but after a while you will find it easy but dont worry theres a difficulty counter to make it harder for yourself . Go on training to help you get better. The problem about this game is the licensing. All italian and spanish league have been licesensed but only two clubs have from england which are arsenal and chelsea but if you find this of putting you can buy memory cards with all licensed teams, players, kits and makes if you want this you can find it on EBAY
On this link you can get this memory card which can get you licensed clubs etc.
So overall this is the best football game around and looks like it should be for a long time
